AgeKit: Biological Age is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It is a general wellness and self-tracking tool. The “biological age” it shows is an estimate: a score derived by comparing your own health metrics against published population reference ranges. It is not a measurement of your body’s actual age, not a biomarker test, not a clinical assessment, and not a diagnosis of any condition.

Always consult a qualified physician or other healthcare professional about your health, and before changing your exercise, diet, sleep or medication. Never use the app to diagnose a condition, to decide whether to start, change or stop a treatment, or to delay seeking care. If you experience chest pain or pressure, shortness of breath, fainting, or any symptoms that are severe, persistent or worsening, seek medical attention immediately or call your local emergency number. Never disregard professional medical advice because of a number or suggestion shown in this app.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AgeKit: Biological Age, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app. The app is published by the makers of BiteKit.

Description of Service

The app reads health metrics from Apple Health with your permission — fitness, activity, sleep, body and vitals data — combines them with a short lifestyle questionnaire you answer in the app, and computes a biological age estimate entirely on your device, together with the factors driving it and suggestions for improving them. All processing and storage is local. The app is intended for personal, non-commercial use by adults aged 18 and over.

Accuracy of the Estimate

The estimate is only as good as its inputs. It depends on published population reference ranges that may not apply to you, on the accuracy of the sensors in your iPhone and Apple Watch, on how completely and consistently those devices record your data, and on the honesty of your questionnaire answers. Different methods produce different biological ages for the same person, and the number can move for reasons that have nothing to do with your health. We do not guarantee that the estimate, the reference ranges, the per-factor contributions or the suggestions are accurate, complete, current or applicable to your situation. Treat the trend over time as more meaningful than any single number, and treat neither as a medical finding.

Your Data

Everything the app reads and computes stays on your device. There is no account and no cloud backup, which means we cannot recover your history if you delete the app, reset your device, or lose it. Keeping a device backup is your responsibility. Your Apple Health data is never uploaded, never used for advertising and never shared with third parties — see the Privacy Policy for details.

Purchases

The app unlocks with AgeKit Lifetime, a single one-time purchase of $9.99. There is no subscription and nothing renews. The price is in U.S. dollars and may vary by region and over time; the price shown in the app at the moment of purchase applies. The purchase is sold and processed by Apple through your Apple Account and is subject to Apple’s standard billing terms:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Nothing is charged again afterwards.
  • The purchase grants you a perpetual, personal, non-transferable licence to use the paid features of the app on the devices associated with your Apple ID, for as long as the app is available and supported on those devices.
  • You can restore your purchase on a new or reset device with Restore Purchases in the app, using the same Apple Account you bought it with.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies; we cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.

Use of the app is also governed by Apple’s standard end-user license agreement for App Store apps: Apple Standard EULA.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Consulting a healthcare professional about your health and any changes you plan to make
  • Being 18 or older, and using the app only for yourself
  • Entering accurate profile and lifestyle information if you want the estimate to be meaningful
  • Backing up your device if you want to preserve your history
  • Using the app in compliance with applicable laws
  • Maintaining the security of your device

Intellectual Property

AgeKit: Biological Age, including its design, features, scoring model and other content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our written permission. The health data and entries on your device remain yours.

Limitation of Liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that the biological age estimate is accurate or fit for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any health outcome, any decision you make based on its estimate or suggestions, or any loss of data stored on your device.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
