Methodology
The headline count covers nutrition-analysis requests sent to BiteKit. Photo requests are separated from text or transcribed voice requests.
The explorer uses normalized generic items from a shared nutrition lookup cache. The count combines the first analysis with later cache matches.
A generic food needs at least six analysis signals to appear. Raw text, saved diary entries, account data, identifiers, photos, and weight history are never published.
Requests are not unique people, and the sample reflects BiteKit usage rather than the general population. Nutrition values are estimates for the serving shown.

The Food Logging Index is a daily-updated summary of aggregate nutrition-analysis activity in BiteKit. It shows broad food lookup patterns without exposing individual accounts, saved diaries, or raw meal descriptions.
No. The public index does not read or publish saved food diaries, user identifiers, account information, weight history, or raw request text. Rankings come from aggregate reuse counts in BiteKit’s shared nutrition lookup cache.
Foods are ranked by the number of times a normalized generic food lookup was reused by BiteKit’s nutrition engine. A food must have at least six total analysis signals to appear in the public sample.
No. Calories and macros are reference estimates for the serving shown. Recipes, brands, cooking methods, and portion sizes can change the result, so the figures should not be treated as medical advice.
The page refreshes its aggregate statistics from BiteKit’s production dataset daily. Counts will rise and rankings may change as more foods are analyzed.
