Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Netball Scorer: Scoreboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app. The app is published by the makers of BiteKit.

Description of Service

The app is a local-only scoring companion for netball matches: you run a live scoreboard with a quarter clock and intervals, set the seven court positions and the bench for each period, record goals, misses and super shots per shooter, and review match and season statistics for your team. All of your matches, teams and players are stored on your device. The app is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

Scoring Is Unofficial

The app is an aid for a scorer, coach or spectator, not an official record. It does not enforce the rules of netball, does not adjudicate anything on court, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to World Netball, Netball Australia, Netball New Zealand, England Netball, Suncorp Super Netball or any other governing body, league or competition. Clock settings, period lengths and optional rules such as the Super Shot are configurable by you and default to common values, which may not match the rules of your competition. Where the app’s record and the official record of a match differ, the official record governs. We do not guarantee that any score, timing or statistic in the app is accurate or complete.

Your Data

Everything you record stays on your device. There is no account and no cloud backup, which means we cannot recover your matches, teams or players if you delete the app, reset your device, or lose it. Keeping a device backup is your responsibility. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Subscriptions & Purchases

The app offers an auto-renewable subscription at $3.99 per month with a 7-day free trial, and a one-time lifetime purchase of $19.99 as an alternative. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by region and over time; the price shown in the app at the moment of purchase applies. All purchases are sold and processed by Apple through your Apple Account and are subject to Apple’s standard billing terms:

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the 7-day free trial if you do not cancel first.
• A free trial converts into a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple Account settings on your device (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Canceling stops future renewals; it does not shorten the period you already paid for.
• If you subscribe during a free trial, any unused portion of that trial is forfeited when you purchase.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies; we cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases.
• The lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-recurring purchase that unlocks the paid features for as long as the app is available and supported on your device. It is tied to the Apple Account you bought it with and can be restored on a new or reset device with Restore Purchases in the app.

Use of the app is also governed by Apple’s standard end-user license agreement for App Store apps, which applies except where these terms supersede it: Apple Standard EULA.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Following the rules of your competition and the decisions of its umpires and officials
• Entering accurate scores, times and lineups if you want your statistics to be meaningful
• Having permission to record the names and details of other players, especially those under 18
• Backing up your device if you want to preserve your match history
• Using the app in compliance with applicable laws
• Maintaining the security of your device

Intellectual Property

Netball Scorer: Scoreboard, including its design, features and other content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our written permission. The matches, teams and players you create remain yours.

Limitation of Liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any disputed result, any decision you make based on its scores or statistics, or any loss of data stored on your device.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
